The Department of Zoology established in 1969.It is most reputed department in B. N. Bandodkar College of Science. It has great research background from more than 40 years. Zoology provides in-depth study of animal biology including physiology, evolution, ecology, genetics, biochemistry, developmental biology, molecular biology, comparative anatomy etc.

The department also supports M.Sc By Research and Ph.D. in Zoology programs along with Undergraduate Programs. The department has also implemented many Skill based courses, projects for students.

 Zoology department has total three dedicative laboratories for UG, PG, PhD, Research courses.
