The Research Committee plays an important role in setting and managing the research activities of the
college. Its main functions are as follows:
1. The Research Committee prepares the research policy for the college and ensures its proper
implementation.
2. It regularly reviews the research programs, keeping inclusiveness and equal opportunity in mind.
3. Every six months, the committee reviews the progress of each research scholar based on a report
submitted by their research guide (satisfactory or not satisfactory).
4. The committee will develop a Code of Ethics and monitor cases of plagiarism and research misconduct.
5. Faculty members are encouraged to improve their research knowledge and share their work with the
larger academic community.
6. The committee will set clear rules for creating and reviewing research projects that are related to the
curriculum.
7. The committee will work to include research-based learning in the syllabus through different strategies.
8. It will organize orientation programs for students, staff, and teachers to build awareness and interest in
research.
9. The committee will make efforts to raise funds to support research facilities in the college, including
purchasing instruments, research journals, and ICT tools.
