The Department of Information Technology was established in the academic year 2001–2002
with the objective of providing quality education and hands-on experience in the field of
information technology. Since its inception, the department has been committed to equipping
students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in a rapidly evolving technological
landscape.

We now provide:

• Undergraduate (B.Sc.) and postgraduate (M.Sc.) programs in Information Technology
  aligned with modern academic standards.
• Well-equipped infrastructure and computer laboratories to support effective teaching,
  practical learning, and research projects.
• Guidance for student-led projects, participation in competitions, workshops, and seminars to enhance technical and professional skills.
• Exposure to emerging technologies through workshops, seminars, and conferences on
  topics such as Linux, Intelligent Systems, Cloud Technology, and Future Technologies.
• Opportunities for industrial visits, internships, and hands-on workshops in collaboration with institutions and industries.

The department is headed by Prof. A. A. Kale, supported by a team of assistant professors
and dedicated technical staff, including experienced lab attendants, ensuring smooth
functioning of all academic and laboratory activities. Our faculty members are committed
educators and active professionals in their respective fields, providing students with both
theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
Through its strong academic foundation, modern facilities, and co-curricular initiatives, the
