The Department of Computer Science was established in the academic year 2008–2009,
recognizing the growing importance of computing and information technology in every
sphere of modern life. Since its inception, the department has been committed to providing
quality education and fostering research in cutting-edge areas of computer science.
The department began with a focused team of passionate faculty and motivated students.
Over the years, it has evolved into a dynamic hub of academic excellence, known for its
innovative teaching, research initiatives, and industry collaborations.
We now provide:

•  An undergraduate program (B.Sc.) in Computer Science aligned with current
  academic standards.
• State-of-the-art infrastructure, including a fully equipped computer laboratory, to
  support hands-on learning and practical projects.
• Guidance for student-led research projects and participation in competitions,
  seminars, and hackathons.
• Workshops, conferences, and seminars to expose students to emerging technologies,
  including Linux Thane (2006), Intelligent Systems (2010), Cloud Technology (2011),
  and FUTECH (2012).
• Opportunities for industrial visits, internships, and hands-on workshops through
  collaborations with institutions and industries.   

The department is headed by Prof. A. A. Kale, with smooth functioning of laboratory
activities ensured by a dedicated technical team. Our faculty members are not only
experienced educators but also active researchers, working across diverse fields such as programming, software development, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
Through a combination of rigorous academics, modern infrastructure, and practical learning
experiences, the Department of Computer Science is dedicated to shaping skilled
professionals ready to excel in academia, industry, and research. Our graduates are equipped
