For the academic year, admission to the First Year Junior College (FYJC) in B.N. Bandodkar College of Science, follows a centralized online process managed by the School Education and Sports Department. This process is applicable to all junior colleges affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board.

To be eligible for admission to the FYJC Science stream, applicants must:
  • Have passed the SSC (Class 10) examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized board such as CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, or IB, with English as one of the subjects.
  • Students must register through the online admission portal of the Government of Maharashtra (11thadmission.org.in) and then fill the college admission form.
  • Applicants need to submit the following documents during the admission process:
    • Original Class 10 mark sheet
    • School Leaving Certificate (SLC)
    • Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/SBC/VJ/NT categories)
    • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for applicable categories)
    • EWS Certificate (if applicable)
    • Disability Certificate (if applicable)
    • Domicile Certificate (if required)
  • Admission is provisional until verification of documents.
  • In-House Quota: The college reserves 48 seats under the in-house quota.

Note: The full college fee is to be paid at the time of admission. In case a scholarship is sanctioned by the Government, the refundable amount will be reimbursed to the student upon receipt of the scholarship funds and confirmation of approval. Not applicable for the Computer Science and Self Finance division.
